Refund Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

1. Individual purchases (courses, Rooms, certifications)

If you're not satisfied with a course, Room, or certification, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have completed less than 20% of the content (for a course or Room) or have not yet started a certification attempt. To request a refund, contact us at ra.aenosh@thecyberledger.in with your account email and the item name.

2. Certification attempts already started

Once you've started a certification attempt (agreed to the integrity policy and begun the knowledge exam or a practical environment), that attempt has consumed real proctoring, grading, and — where applicable — human report-review capacity, so it is non-refundable. You may still be eligible for a refund on the certification purchase itself if no attempt has been started, under Section 1 above.

3. All-access subscriptions

Subscriptions are period-based (you pay once for a month or a year of access) rather than auto-recurring, so there's no ongoing charge to cancel. Refund requests for a subscription period follow the same window and usage threshold as individual purchases above, evaluated against your overall usage across everything you accessed during that period.

4. CTF challenges and badges

Individual CTF challenge purchases (where applicable) follow the same 7-day window as Section 1, provided you have not yet submitted a correct flag for that challenge. Badges are earned, not purchased, and are not subject to this policy.

5. What happens when a refund is issued

Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Razorpay, typically within 5-10 business days depending on your bank. Your access to the refunded item (or, for a subscription refund, your all-access period) is revoked immediately once the refund is issued.

6. Certificates, credentials, and badges already issued

If a certificate, certification credential, or badge was issued before a refund is requested, it remains on record and publicly verifiable — a refund does not retroactively revoke a credential already earned.

7. External labs and downloadable packages

If a Room or certification's practical component is hosted on an external lab platform or delivered as a downloadable package (VM/OVA/ZIP), launching that lab or downloading the package counts as starting the content for the purposes of Section 1's usage threshold.

8. Exceptions

We may decline a refund request if we find evidence of abuse (e.g. completing content and requesting a refund solely to obtain it for free) at our discretion.
