Terminals run in a private, temporary environment created when you start them. Give a new one a little time to boot.
If it stays blank or disconnects
- Reload the page and start the terminal again.
- Terminals use a live (WebSocket) connection. Some VPNs, school or office networks and browser extensions block those - try another network, or switch the VPN or ad blocker off for this site.
- Try a current version of Chrome, Firefox or Edge.
- Close other tabs that have a terminal open.
